I needed a car for commuting to work. I visited two dealerships before Isringhausen. At each dealership I dealt with salesman trying to rush me through the process. I knew Isringhausen had a pre-owned inventory. I went online and looked at their selection. I found the perfect car for my budget. I scheduled a test drive. Scott Sables was the sales rep who showed me the car. Great guy. Professional. He let me take as much time as needed for viewing and driving the car. I purchased a Toyota Corolla. Excellent car. The Isringhausen sales process was a great experience for this car buyer. Highly recommended!!!

I've done (fun!!!) car business with Isringhausen Imports for 30 years, at least 15 vehicles, mostly higher end. I return with my business THERE although I live HERE (in Indianapolis) because they have an exceptional service culture. They are competitive in the ways that really matter most to me, and I expect I get "the good bounce" if there are challenges from time to time because of my loyalty. The cars are done and delivered and serviced right, as fine cars should be. I've never felt my customer relationship was about "this one deal today" and I'm really fussy about the integrity of follow through, etc. I've watched management focus on customers all these years. The car business changes, but Isringhausen's core just expands in a good way. They are car people at Isringhausen, and they are business people too who want their customers to return and get the best. I find it amazingly powerful that they sell as many great cars from a small market into so many other markets where the other ("non competing") dealer franchises often use their predatory monopoly territorial basis against the customers who live in their "catchment" area. Isringhausen hustles to get my business and doesn't take it for granted. Any business as successful as they are in a small market is defined by it's success as customers from further away who definitely vote with their dollars. We are fortunate to know them so well!
Working with Scott Sables was great! Not only did I get the exact car I came to look at, but he stayed late on a Friday night to make sure the process could be finished that night since I don't live locally. He went out of his way to try to find me the right car. Every customer is treated the same no matter what you're buying. Great experience!

My recent (and first) experience with Isringhausen served as proof that it is a unique dealership in that it values the virtues of trust, integrity, professionalism, and honesty. Based on its personnel's extensive knowledge of fine automobiles, this dealership was capable of answering all inquiries and thereupon inject ingenuity and creativity to the purchasing process. All the above traits, particularly trust, enabled me to trade in my rather unique 1986 Cab. on their 2011 911 Carrera S Cab. Neither party to this transaction personally viewed the vehicles involved until they were ultimately received. Rather, Geoff, Jr. relied entirely on my full disclosures and numerous photos of the '86 911, and I relied totally on his representations of the 2011. Isringhausen's shipping of the 2011 to me and its pickup of the '86 was flawless. My new one is, as represented, fantastic, while they obtained a beautiful driver. Geoff not only made this somewhat unique transaction come together, but also brought it in within the constraints of my budget. If I could assign 6 or more stars to this experience and dealership, I would.
I have been a customer of Isringhausen since the mid 90's and that is a long time. The service is exceptional and the sales staff are very knowledgeable and helpful.
This is the third high performance car I have purchased from Isringhausen. All three times I worked with Dave Heimlich. At times I had questions where others at Isringhausen jumped in when Dave was busy and all were very helpful. The focus is the customer. In the course of a transaction you might deal with ownership, another sales person, no matter who it is they work as a team with no egos.

So I am on the road again this winter, this time 1150 miles from home. We have 8-12 inches of snow predicted tomorrow and I know my vehicle ('12 BMW X5) is ready for the worst conditions thanks to Clem, Jeremy, Joe and Gary as well as the technicians at Isringhausen. I recently bought a 2009 MB SL500 from Isringhausen. I live near St. Louis and visited dealers in St. Louis but eventually bought from Isringhausen. I got the automobile I was seeking. A rear end collision while my husband was stopped at a stop light totaled his car (which he really loved) and he needed a new one very quickly. We met with Scott Sables at Isringhausen and he was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, patient, sincere and a very interested and interesting person. We did not find the perfect fit but as we were leaving the lot a vehicle that we had seen online had been returned from a test drive. We test drove and purchased that Lexus, but it really was remarkable that although Scott showed us many cars and was very compelling in his knowledge of the vehicles, he never pressured us into purchasing a vehicle. He was very respectful and made us feel that he wanted us to find the "right car" as much as we did. He went the extra mile and helped us sync both of our phones with my husband's new car and even helped me sync my new phone with an RX350 which I had previously purchased at Isringhausen. We had several other vehicles to see both in Springfield and Quincy but were delighted to find the "right car" and purchase at Isringhausen. It was a pleasure working with Scott Sables and we will be back the next time we need a car!

Both the Sales and Service Departments have continually provided us with positive experiences. This purchase was no different. Our salesman, Kent Hill, was as professional and knowledgeable as any we have had. His personal attitude was a selling feature for us. He instinctively knew when to give us time alone and when to provide further information. His laid back but informative approach to the car's technology allowed us to experiment with the "gadgets" while not feeling like fools. It has been a pleasure to be a small part of Isringhausen's growth and development.
I very recently purchased a M5 from Jeffrey E. and he is hands down the best salesman I have met. Buying a car out of state can be stressful because you are relying on the salesman to describe the car He was honest, professional and most important prompt and quick on calling/texting/emailing me back. He provided detailed pictures upon request no matter how many times I asked. He was honest and clear about flaws in the car(scratch, nav not working etc). Negotiations felt like he was really on my side and genuinely wanted to give me the best deal possible. They gave me a fantastic rate on my loan and the car was delivered today. When I got the car I noticed a few flaws that Jeffrey did not mention. I contacted him immediately and he got right on it. He was in no way trying to play it off, but was honestly concerned and was more mad at himself that he may have missed something. The General manager called later to discuss the flaws. He too was very courteous and professional. Not once did he make me feel hopeless. He apologized that my experience was dampened because of this and we worked together to resolve the problem. We came to an agreement that made me so happy I'm writing this review. Just wanted to let people know there are not a lot of dealers that will go the extra mile after the sale has been made. I have met plenty of dealers that are professional during the car buying process but once you made the purchase they turn a blind eye. Not Isringhausen. They went above and beyond what a dealer should do and I will be doing business with them from now on with all my purchases. Thanks again for a great car but more important, for your integrity

I'm a Ford guy. I saw a 1,300 mile pre-owned '13 GT Mustang for sale at Isringhausen. I live 6 hours away so it was a gamble renting a Uhaul trailer and driving that far for a car I had only seen in pics. Scott Sables described the car as flawless and when I arrived, it was flawless. I asked Scott to NOT have my car washed before I arrived. When I got there, it had NOT been washed. Scott listened. Scott texted me pics of the car in their warehouse where it had stayed the entire week after I sent my down payment. My car didn't go home with a salesman for a weekend joy ride. I purchased a pre-owned Mustang at a premier German dealership and I received customer service as if I was buying their most expensive car. As far as customer service, you won't find a better dealership. The customer service is unmatched.
I have been a Volvo owner for almost 20 years and a customer of Giuffre and the Sables family while they owned the dealership in Springfield IL. I have always appreciated their first class service, both in purchasing Volvos and servicing them. While I love the quality and safety of Volvos, I have consistently bought these cars because of Scott Sables' top notch commitment to his customers. I learned about this dealer from their WSJ ads which showed amazing cars (Jag XJ220, Porsche Carrera GT, etc.) in a rather small town. When I saw an incredible S550 come up for sale on their website, I decided to give them my business, and I'm so glad I did. I used to do business with Plaza Motors in St. Louis, but this dealer is on a completely different level. Mike Carver was incredibly courteous both in person and over email and made my first Mercedes purchase incredibly easy. I will definitely be making all future luxury car purchases through them! As a side note, taking the train from St. Louis to pick up a car is definitely the best way to get there; the dealer is steps from the station.

I had my BMW 3 Series in for scheduled maintenance, and a couple of very small nicks on the rear bumper repaired. All was handled smoothly and efficiently - perfect, in fact. I was always aware of my car's status, etc. The loaner was a new BMW X3 Series - very pleased that it was not a Ford Fiesta or some such (for example) that some dealerships utilize for loaner vehicles. I recently sought out to lease my first BMW. My local dealership wanted to build me a car but Isringhausen had one already built that was very similar to what I was looking for. So I called them up and even though I live out of state they worked with me via email and phone to negotiate a price I was comfortable with and walk me through the process (this was my first time leasing a car). Mike Plohr was very responsive in answering my questions and very pleasant and easy to work with. The car was delivered directly to my home on Isringhausen's delivery truck the delivery process was painless and the car arrived in perfect condition. The driver called me to nail down a delivery time and delivered it right when he said he would. He even welcomed me to the Isringhausen family. Since this was my first BMW Mike called me later that same day to make sure I didnt have any questions on how to operate the car since he couldnt show me in person. Honestly this process was so much easier than I was expecting I would recommend this dealer to anyone - local or out of state.

This is the first time I have ever bought a vehicle without being at the dealership in person. To my surprise the experience was excellent. Jeffrey made this purchase possible because of his knowledge personality and honest dialogue that put me at ease. Beginning with my 911 weve purchased four low mileage certified Porsche Mercedes Benz and BMW autos from Luke at Isringhausen over the last 5 years. Each of the purchasing experiences was great -- and about as pleasant as purchasing a car can be. The Porsche MB and BMW maintenance centers also provide excellent honest premier level service. We still love our 911 and ML550 but when its time to replace them or add another car well be driving the 75 miles to Isringhausen -- even though other dealerships are much closer.

I recently had my Mercedes E350 serviced at Isringhausen and was very pleased with my experience. So much that I have no problem driving 60 or so miles to Isringhausen from now on even though I have a Mercedes dealership in my town. Carl was very accommodating helpful and knowledgeable. Friendliest service Ive ever experienced. The entire process was very smooth and hassle free from begining to end.
I suddenly had difficulty steering my Chrysler Aspen. Right then I drove it directly to the Isringhausen service department. I did not have an appointment. They welcomed me and took my car into the service area. Within an hour they called and told me that the water pump was leaking and needed replacement. On this Friday afternoon they did not have one in stock and told me they would be able to have it fixed on Monday. That was certainly fine with me AT 440 p.m. they called back and told me it was fixed and I could pick up my car They called around and found a water pump locally and completed the replacement. This is typical of the service I have had at Isringhausen. Carl Mott the Service Manager is always courteous and very accommodating. The workmanship is excellent as well. Consistently outstanding service
My experience with my sale person Jeffrey was fantastic As well as the Business Manager Marc Everything went so smooth from the time I decided to purchase my Audi RS5 over the phone to picking it up in person. I thank them very much and would love to do business with them again or send some people in there direction.
I just purchased a used Lexus RX450H at Isringhausen after seeing it on the internet and driving up to Springfield from St. Louis. The salesman Rob Landers was great to work with very professional low key and forthright. The entire experience was extremely comfortable. After purchase they delivered my car to St. Louis within two days so that they could complete detailing the vehicle which had just gotten to the dealership a day or two prior to my purchase. This was the best car-buying experience that I have ever had.

Thank you for taking care of the service on my Cayenne Turbo and for tracking down the source of the sound in the front end that we had been describing. And thank you for the loaner I could not have been more impressed with the Cayenne Diesel. We were getting anywhere from 28 to 32 mpg out of it. The wife is spoiled with the Turbo but the Diesel is more of a realistic choice. Thank you for giving us such cool loaner cars. Wouldn't ever consider buying from another dealership!

In search for Convertible Corvette, my sister-in-law suggested I contact Isringhausen Imports as she heard they would search for the car I was looking for. I viewed their website before contacting them. I didn't need to look any further; they already had what I was looking for. I contacted salesman Mike Plohr. Since I live 170 miles from Isringhausen, Mike proceded to described the vehicle of interest in great detail; when I arrived to view the Corvette, there were no suprises. Mike also explained, if I was not completely satisfied they would do what they could to make me happy. I really appreciated working with Geoffrey. He truly went above and beyond. The first trip we were there he stayed really late to accommodate us. He was fantastic at communication and with an infant, I appreciated the fact that I could text and e-mail him, instead of having to always talk on the phone (it is hard to have a phone conversation with baby around.) Most of all, he was easy going and low pressure, which when buying a car is extremely important. He allowed us the time and several trips which comes with making a car purchase without making us feel like we "must buy now." I went to another dealership to drive a [different car] and when one of the sales people seemed pushy, it really turned me off (which furthered my decision to buy the BMW, in addition to liking the car better.) Overall, he did a fantastic job.

After watching the web site for over 2 years the vehicle I had been looking for showed up. Saw it on a Friday afternoon. We caught the train from STL at 6 a.m. to see it Saturday morning. Last week, I drove from Peoria to Springfield. Prior to my trip, I put gas in my car. While fueling, I grabbed a coffee inside; unbeknownst to me, the gas tank did not shut itself and my car was covered in gas! Also, my shoes got covered with gas as I was shutting the pump. I had my dogs in the car and needed to make the drive. I called Isringhausen as I arrived into Springfield and spoke to Gary in service; he felt so badly for me; offered me bottled water, and cleaned out the part os the car which was covered with gas, for free! Also, it was not even a car I purchased from Isringhausen! Thank you Gary! You definitely have the Kuhn family loyalty!

Staff was extremely courteous, helpful, and friendly. Waiting area was very clean and nicely arranged with comfortable seating. Shuttle driver was also very courteous and accommodating. My car was quite dirty when I brought it into the dealership, due to my having been on several extended business trips. It was spotless when I returned to pick it up.
