The Award-Winning Mercedes-Benz Sprinter

The 2012 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter has won three Best Fleet Value in America awards from Vincentric. Vincentric measures and analyzes the overall cost of owning and operating vehicles and shares their results with the public.

The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter performed strongly in Vincentric’s 2012 review, winning three of the heavy duty van segments.

To determine the 2012 Vincentric Best Fleet Value in America awards, Vincentric analyzed over 2,700 vehicle configurations in 20 different lifecycle cost scenarios, using 8 cost factors including depreciation, fees and taxes, financing, fuel, insurance, maintenance, opportunity cost, and repairs.

Vincentric also considered Sprinter’s high residual value and strong fuel economy. The diesel engine offers an impressive 188 hp, boasts clean combustion, low emissions, and a high level of efficiency, plus the Sprinter’s cost of ownership is less than that of similar vehicles. Reviewers praised Sprinter for its driving ease, interior capacity and available features.

The award winners include the Sprinter Cargo Van 2500 standard roof 144” wheelbase, the Sprinter Cargo Van 3500 high roof 144” wheelbase and the Sprinter Passenger Van 2500 standard roof 144” wheelbase.

Vincentric, led by David Wurster and Dave Freed is a privately held automotive data compilation and analysis firm located in Bingham Farms, Michigan. Their awards are given to the highest quality of vehicles and assists consumers when comparing to buy.
