New Porsche 718 Boxster and 718 Boxster S Arrive at Isringhausen
Roadster fans, rejoice! The latest generation of Porsche’s iconic mid-engine two-seater has arrived at Isringhausen, sporting more power, updated styling, and a completely retuned suspension. The new models are named 718 Boxster and 718 Boxster S, paying homage to the historic Porsche 718 sports car that won numerous races back in the late 1950s and early 1960s.

The heart of the 718 Boxster is its turbocharged flat four-cylinder engine, which replaces the naturally aspirated flat sixes of previous models. The new engine produces 35 more horsepower than its predecessor and is up to 14% more fuel efficient.

The looks of the new model line have been improved, too. In fact, every body part – except for the luggage compartment lids, windshield and the convertible top – has been updated. The front end has been resculpted, and significantly larger cooling air intakes serve as a reminder of the newly added turbocharger.

Isringhausen currently has a pair of these Bavarian beauties: a silver 2017 Porsche 718 Boxster convertible and a white 2017 Porsche 718 Boxster S convertible, which adds a turbocharger with variable turbine geometry and 50 more horsepower. Stop by and test drive one today.
