The annual Old Capitol Holiday Walks are happening now (with a few safety precautions, of course). This year when you shop downtown, you might just win some cash!
You’ll receive a Red Ticket for every purchase of $25 at participating downtown businesses. Each ticket gives you a chance at winning a $1,000, $500 or $250 prize!
The raffle was organized by Downtown Springfield, Inc. (DSI) and sponsored by Isringhausen Imports. We’ve been serving downtown Springfield for nearly 40 years and are proud to support our local businesses, especially during these uncertain economic times.
Red Tickets will be handed out every day until December 19. Earn two tickets for each purchase of $25 on Double Ticket Days on December 9 and December 19.
Keep your Red Tickets to see if you win in the drawing on Facebook Live on December 21 at 1 pm. Three names will be drawn to receive $1,000, $500 and $250 respectively. Prizes must be claimed by Dec. 23 at 5 pm. Call 217-544-1723 if your name is drawn.
Parking is free at the meters every single day through December 31. Additionally, there will be fun activities including:
- Free horse-drawn carriage rides
- Pop-up Santa’s office with a chance to chat with Santa by mobile phone
- Holiday farmers market (Dec. 19)
