"This is the best, most capable supercar on the planet as of now." That's what the editors of Motortrend wrote about the Porsche 911 GT2 RS in their 2019 "Automobile All-Stars" feature.
This exceptional example, finished in classic GT Silver Metallic with Satin Black Wheels, arrives as a 1-owner vehicle with just 3,824 miles and will be offered as a Porsche Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle.
The GT2 RS is the fastest and most powerful 911 with approval for use on the road. The 700-hp bi-turbo flat engine catapults the two-seater vehicle from zero to 100 km/h (60 mph) in 2.8 seconds.
When approaching the vehicle, one immediately notices the large air intakes/outlets and the imposing rear wing, key to the car’s advanced aerodynamics. Its large, wide wheels allow superior brake and lateral forces. The 265/35 ZR 20 (front) and 325/30 ZR 21 (rear) are the widest tire dimensions that Porsche has fitted on a 911.
The first 911 GT2 was developed in 1995 to meet certification requirements for motorsport and was based on the 911 Turbo that was available at the time. The subsequent generations followed in 2000 and 2007. In 2010, Porsche designed the first 911 GT2 RS to be an even more powerful and near-motorsport variant.
All 911 GT2 vehicles have several things in common: turbo engines with significantly increased power, motorsport chassis, high-performance brakes, and rear-wheel drive as opposed to all-wheel drive.
The GT2 RS is the ultimate 911 to come out of Weissach, Germany. Test drive this example by appointment today.
Update: Sorry, but this vehicle has found a home with one lucky Isringhausen customer.
