Cardinals great Adam Wainwright is coming to Springfield on Saturday, February 6, to host an autograph signing and benefit concert at Boondocks Pub on N. Dirksen Parkway. Isringhausen Imports is a proud sponsor of the event.
Joining Adam will be singer/songwriter Dallas Davidson, who will perform after the autograph signing. Davidson is a Georgia-based musician who has written for such country artists as Blake Sheldon, Luke Bryan and Lady Antebellum.
The autograph signing with Wainwright will be from 2:00 – 4:00 pm, and each ticket holder is invited to bring one item for Adam to sign. The live music will begin at 5:30 and last until 7:00.
Tickets are available here.
Proceeds will support Big League Impact’s mission of helping people meet basic human needs like food, clean water, medical care, shelter, and education. The charity, founded by Adam Wainwright in 2013, raised $1.6 million in 2020 alone and supported over great 50 causes. Fittingly, Adam received MLB’s prestigious Roberto Clemente Award the same year. The award is given annually to the MLB player who best exemplifies Hall of Famer Roberto Clemente’s humanitarian dedication to his community.
Whether you’re a Cardinals fan, country music fan, or both, the event is an opportunity to have a great time for a great cause. We at Isringhausen hope to see you there.
Update: Cardinals Hall-of-Famer Jim Edmonds has been added to the autograph signing! Edmonds’ career spanned 17 Major League seasons with six teams but is best remembered for his eight outstanding years in St. Louis. Jim won eight Gold Gloves for fielding excellence and was a four-time All-Star. He helped lead the Cardinals to its first pennant in 17 years (2004) as well as a World Series championship (2006).
