On Saturday, June 10, Porsche dealerships around the country, including Isringhausen Porsche, celebrated 75 years of the iconic automotive brand. The weather was gorgeous as 100+ Porsche fans gathered at the iconic Springfield dealership to enjoy an afternoon of cars, camaraderie, and fun.
Isringhausen assembled a stunning display of Porsche vehicles for guests to enjoy. They included a 1964 356 C, a 1991 911 Turbo, a 2021 718 Spyder, and an awesome 911 GT2 RS Clubsport 25 race car, one of only 30 examples in the world. Additionally, many guests proudly showcased their very own Porsche vehicles, creating an atmosphere brimming with shared admiration.
Inside the dealership, guests enjoyed food from Cured Catering, wine tastings by Ad Astra Wine Bar & Market, decades of great music, and a live stream of the 24 Hours of Le Mans race.
As part of the global celebration, Porsche said, “The birth of the Porsche brand was exactly 75 years ago. On June 8, 1948, the Porsche 356 ‘No. 1’ received its general operating permit. For Ferry Porsche, this was a dream come true -- the dream of a sports car that had never existed before."
Let's take a moment to appreciate the incredible gift that Ferry Porsche bestowed upon the world of automobiles. 75 years later, Isringhausen Porsche is proud to celebrate his legacy and the enduring symbol of excellence that he left us all.
