A photographer sent by legendary auction house Sotheby's recently visited Springfield to help Isringhausen Imports take photos of a stunning 2008 Porsche 911 GT3 RS for an upcoming online auction. The vehicle listing will be part of a brand-new endeavor between Sotheby’s and Motorsport Network called Sotheby’s Motorsport, dedicated to high-end automobiles.

Sotheby’s Motorport will feature sport, exotic and luxury vehicles, priced between $100,000 and approximately $1 million, with an emphasis on enhanced protection for both buyers and sellers. Vehicles will be evaluated by third-party inspectors, and buyers must verify their financial capability prior to bidding. Sotheby’s Motorsport also handles and transfers all funds and ownership documents, a unique feature within the world of online auto auctions.

Sotheby’s Motorsports is now live on the Web. Current listings include a 2022 Maserati MC20, 2011 Ferrari 599, 2020 Bentley Continental GT, and 1999 Lamborghini Diablo.
