Isringhausen Imports recently lent a hand to a famous local retailer as part of a marketing promotion. It seems Scheels, a nationwide sporting goods and outdoor equipment retailer, challenged its locations to come up with unique ideas to promote a new Lego kit: the Lego Technic Porsche 911 RSR building set. Naturally, the Springfield store reached out to Isringhausen for help.
Scheels created a time-lapse video of the 1,580-piece Lego car being built. Then, the toy car was placed in front of the store, where it “transformed” into an actual 911 RSR, emblazoned with the Isringhausen logo. To achieve this, a one-of-kind video/photo shoot was arranged in the Scheels parking lot. The video is now playing online as part of various ad networks. One Isringhausen employee even saw it during a game of Candy Crush! View the ad here.
