Last September, TV personality Dennis Gage and his crew from "My Classic Car" visited Springfield to capture the vibrant atmosphere of the famous International Route 66 Mother Road Festival. The episode is now available on YouTube and will air on the Motor Trend network in February.
Attentive viewers will spot a few connections to Isringhausen Imports. Early in the episode, at the 1:16 mark, there's a nice tracking shot showcasing the Isringhausen vehicles on display at the festival, including a rare 30th Anniversary Edition Porsche 911 Carrera, a 2011 Ferrari 458 Challenge race car, and an eye-catching 2023 Porsche 911 GT3 Touring, among others. The episode also opens with highlights from the popular Burnout Contest, proudly sponsored by Isringhausen.
This is just a sneak peek of what Dennis covers in the 30-minute episode. He also features several classic cars from the event while sharing insights from their equally colorful owners. Among them are a strikingly lowered 1961 Plymouth Belvidere, a right-hand drive 1963 Ford Anglia Super Estate, a 1976 International Scout II Traveler SUV, and many more.
Dennis clearly had a fantastic time, and the episode beautifully showcases both the Route 66 Festival and the city of Springfield. You can watch the full episode here.
