Springfield comes alive September 25–27 as the International Route 66 Mother Road Festival returns to downtown for its 25th year. This milestone celebration is especially meaningful, marking the 100th Anniversary of Route 66—a century of open‑road adventure, classic‑car culture, and Americana shared across generations.

The festival is free for all spectators, making it one of the most accessible and beloved automotive events in the Midwest.
