Isringhausen Imports has been selected as SIU School of Medicine’s 2026 Distinguished Donor of the Year, honored at this summer’s Harbinger Dinner. The recognition reflects more than 45 years of community investment from the Isringhausen family, beginning with the vision of founder Rob Isringhausen and strengthened by the generosity and grace of his wife, Sue. Their shared commitment to service established the philanthropic foundation the dealership is known for today.
From hosting the first Denim & Diamonds gala in 1999 to supporting cancer research, medical care, and community programs across Springfield, the dealership’s charitable impact has grown alongside its expansion as a Porsche, Mercedes‑Benz, Volvo, and BMW retailer.
Today, Geoff and Jennifer Isringhausen carry that legacy forward, guiding the family’s ongoing support for SIU Medicine, Simmons Cancer Institute, poverty relief initiatives, and downtown revitalization. Their leadership reflects the family’s long‑standing values — hospitality, professionalism, and a deep responsibility to give back — reinforcing the belief that successful businesses should strengthen the communities they call home.
